I hired Bernard Humphrey-Gaskin, principal of ABP Chartered Architects, Bromley when I was wanting a 2 story side extention on my family home in Bickley, Kent
Bernard Humphrey-Gaskin of ABP Chartered Architects insisted I signed a contract covering the whole project From start to finish, he gave me verbal assurances that no stage of the project would begin without my specific verbal go-ahead
After paying ABP for a survey on the property I lost my job, I immediately called Bernard Humphrey-Gaskin and asked him to shelve the project until I was back in gainful employment, he seemed somewhat desperate & panicky, he came across as more concerned that he'd lost his next few months income, he immediately started going on about his "Watertight Contract" and then asked me if I had received "The Schemes" he claimed to have mailed me the day before, I told him I had no idea what "the Schemes" were and reminded him I had not given him the go-ahead to anything other than the survey which I had already paid him for
3 days later I received some rough sketch ideas for possible types of extensions, these being "The Schemes" they were mailed late in the evening from Croydon mail centre the day AFTER I had told him to shelve the project
Several month later his wife and ABP Chartered Architects practice manager Mrs Maria Humphrey-Gaskin telephoned and requested that I paid her £500 for "the schemes", I told her to speak to her husband as this was not what we agreed
Several months later again Maria Humphrey Gaskin called our home and accused us of lying as to our state of employment,reminding us we said we would recommence the project once we were financially able to do so, she refused to believe that we were unable to proceed and suggested we were deceiving her
Andrew Scott, a partner in ABP Chartered Architects at the time styling himself as their "Legal Contracts Expert" then wrote to us saying that they had a "Watertight Contract" presenting us with a bill for several thousand pounds for the useless sketched "Schemes" they had taken it upon themselves to do and threatened to sue us if we didnt pay within a matter of days
ABP Chartered Architects took us to Bromley County Court for "Default" on this invoice, all 3 employees at the time, Bernard & Maria Humphrey-Gaskin plus Andrew Scott conspired to perjure themselves in court in order to "win" the money
After the money had been paid our story was put on the internet principally on some consumer watchdog websites, Mrs Maria Humphrey-Gaskin alleged that this was "Harassment" and "Slander" and badgered Bromley Police for several weeks urging them to arrest us, SHE FAILED after the Crown Prosecution Service pointed out that this was a civil dispute and we are legally entitled to publish the TRUTH and our honest opinions, not a criminal matter
Possibly by coincidence, shortly after Greek Cypriot Mrs Maria Humphrey-Gaskin (Nee Stylianou)failed to get her clients turned victims arrested, we started to receive a barrage of vile racist abuse and threats of death and violence from a Greek Neo-Nazi organisation known as Hrysi Avyi (Golden Dawn) a bunch of Rabid Turk hating racists who persistently targeted my Turkish wife & 2 half Turkish daughters
This began several years ago yet Maria Humphrey-Gaskin has obsessively persisted with her false malicious allegations against me in recent weeks, this abuse is predatory and MUST STOP NOW!
